OK, so I meant, its often said that you cant really polish much shine into light colours, such as silver

That;s the shiniest turd I have seen in ages.

It is hard...you think you've finisihed then realise you've only done the front wing.
I changed tactic and did one panel, then polished, then waxed and saw the results and it spurred me on to do the other panels
