Spark HGF FIXED !!
Today Mike (MJS) fixed our HGF,he replaced the water pump,cambelt and tensioner,also the alternator belt.Great job done!Highly recomend him to all MG owners,a really nice guy,prompt and reliable and most importantly, great price and also made no mess on Spark!

I see it's the usual failure on the old gasket. :yesnod:
I'm surprised to see a plastic inlet manifold. I thought all TFs had the metal manifold fitted.

That does sound like a good price. I've heard of people paying silly money for this work. Did that include the new antifreeze?
Was the head skimmed or pressure tested?

One of our members at Epsom MGOC paid Epsom Motor Group (still MG Dealers) £1700 for a head gasket job on a 2005 TF 135 which included water pump , cam belt and tensioner. Horray for Mike, Jon & Russell :woohoo:
