There does not seem to be any logic to their issue, but then that could be the DVLA!! :broon: i do understand that if you renew RFL, Sorn or make any changes you will get that one first. i declared SORN on my MGB in September and my new V5C has arrived. Please make sure they are correct in all respects :thumbsup:

I'm not sure how true this is but I heard the new issue of V5s was due to a load of the old style ones being "liberated" from DVLA!

Well I suppose that's reassuring. DVLA can't be bothered to keep their documents safe, I wonder how safe our personal data is? :blink:

I got one for the Fiat,but not the TF or MGB yet. It's only public money so 3envelpes and postage charges are nothing to worry about.
I knew some had fallen off the back of a lorry, i didnt realise it was government lorry :ohmy:

The ones that went missing were blank forms, something like 10,000 or 100,00

There was no data with them, but it did mean that a criminal could steal a car then produce a perfect looking V5 to trick you in to buying the car.
