I am not to bothered about losing what coolent is in there tbh hun, its been in there for god alone knows how long.. I cant even make my mind up what colour it is now (its either blue or green lol), its been diluted that many times..
So when all this is going on I will flush the system and put some OAT in..

That's fair hun... according to our service history the coolant had just been replaced before we bought it so didn't want to invest in more when we didn't need to. :)

I would take the whole bumper off. Will give you a better view of the rad.

Was it a wet day? Was it definitely coolant dripping or could it just have been water collected after driving?

Sorry Clive, missed your post mate..

Bad new is..... Rad is totaly buggered!! Took the slam panel off again and you can lift the whole left hand side of the rad up, the core has come apart from the frame?
Neil cant work out how I STILL have water in it...
Phoned my mate Bob and got a second hand one, only been on the car a few months, ali with one fan still attached for £40. So other half is busy with that now..

David, I have found out what those other two nuts where for, they are holding the brackets for the top of the air con rad!!

Fingers crossed everyone that nothing else goes wrong for a few weeks lol..

At this point I must say a big 'THANKYOU' to Clive for the great 'how to bleed your system'.. Will leave rep, when I have spread some more around abit.. Well thats the message I get when I try to do it!!!!

Ah, interesting. That's why I don't have them then!:yesnod: No Air con.
Do these have to be removed before the slam panel can be removed?
Are they the same as the central ones? ie a loose bolt and nut or is the bolt captive?

If you confirm i'll update my how to.

No David, they dont have to be removed, the bolts hold the bracket for the locating lugs on the A/C rad.. So the slam panel will just lift off, once you have the two central bolts undone..

Ok, thanks for that Teri. Glad to hear you've sorted your leak:yesnod: Did you araldite those two annoying bolts to the bracket? It really makes future removals easier.
And come on, where's your profile pic? :dunno:

Your welcome, at least it may stop someone else trying to get them off.. No I didnt David I forgot to do that, but with a big screwdriver handle shoved in between the slam panel and the plastic, you can get your hand in.. Just lol..
