After a week in the family car I've just been for an hours drive in the crisp air, sun shining, hood down ....... :woohoo: Oooh boy, it does you good just to reflect what a great little car these are and how lucky we are to own one.

I reckon a dose of top down MG driving would help cure the blues, depression and give most people an extra zest for life.

Absence does make the heart grow fonder, although I think it's hard to like my MGF any more than I already do.

Heavy showers again today. It's been rather damp down here all over the festive break. :(

A drive in my TF always brings a smile to my face, even though I use her every day. It was shopping at Sainsburys today, topless of course, then we took the dogs for their walk. They enjoy the wind in their hair :)

Having took her off the road in December expecting snow, I admit I am really missing driving her :(

Best to leave her on the road all year round and just not drive her in the snow :)

It has been wet here as well.
I was finally able to wash the poor MGF yesterday when we had a couple of dry hours.

Nope, getting the cover off is a pain in the ass, and she has only been sitting there 4 weeks ..
I might rectify that tomorrow if retail therapy loses out ;)

Important thing is not to leave the handbrake on. It will, most likely, seize the rear callipers.
Chock the wheels instead.

I gave up with the chocks, dam things kept moving when I tried to drive up them, as for the hand brake, I always forget that so hopefully it's not on :silly:
