I posted the cling film mod on .org many many years ago....I get lots of practice dealing with frost lol. Never use it now as my current plastic window is softer plastic than OEM and never cracks etc so I just pour lukewarm water over it

You just like playing with cling film :P

I wonder if I wrapped RD and Mark up in it on Saturday, left them outside while Sue and I had a few and went out later, if they would have frost bite or not :silly:

See doubting Thomas Leigh

A cheap simple solution. I really like the fact that in the morning you just bin the bit of cling film.

I park in my garage - well the car I park in the garage - seems the sensible thing to do although I don't, normally, do sensible. Mind you, I am ancient :woohoo:

I may be old but I’m not senile:-
It’s just that I can’t remember whether it’s Alzheimer’s or Amnesia

I was thinking that this would be a good tip for when you can't park in the garage. I have to work nights soon, for a while, and this would save me a lot of faffing around when I'm tired in the morning.

Sure, I have de-icer spray and a good heater, even a defroster pipe. But 5 minutes is 5 minutes when you're cold and tired. Anyway, all I would want to do is drop the top and go home and this little tip goes a long way to helping that. Nice tip revival Paul. Great tip Broon. :broon:

I'll also test it on the front screen soon.
