Well I never thought I would say this but..... this is an AMAZING album. Maybe a touch too much 'choir' which sometimes drowns out her voice - but my god has she done a great first CD.

Wild Horses is spine tingling.

I downloaded it to see what it was like (I'm the curious type) - tomorrow I'm off out to buy it which is very unusual for me (I usually try them - think 'what poop' then delete them!)

It's humbling to think that someone like her can create such beautiful sounds, yet none of us would have known if she hadn't chanced making a fool of herself on that awful program Britain's (aparently) Got Talent!!!!

UPDATE - 'You'll See' (an old Madonna song) puts Madge to shame as Susan makes a MUCH better job of it - eerily sounding like Madge but in tune!

She makes a refreshing change from the usual fare. The beautifully packaged exquisite creatures who can't sing a true note to save their life without electronic trickery and/or hosts of 'backing' singers.:snow:

Just watching the I dreamed a dream show. I have to say, I Susan has a fantastic voice. To hear her singing with Elaine Paige was fantastic..

She is still a PR nightmare whenever she opens her mouth, but then she is a normal person, so I don't know whether to like her or dislike her for that. :dunno:

I agree hun, but, because she is a 'normal' person, she will always be the same.. You cant dislike her for that...

I don't dislike her, she just makes me cringe when she tries to say something funny. But I guess that is part of her "charm".
