Right – Question time:-
What (some might call it a bastardised) MG is being re-introduced and is two thirds of the way to a more modern one although of a different genre.
Explain please what, why bastardised and the two thirds way of a different genre. :whistle:
PS I feel a bit out of it with just my "travelling Teddy" - no Mauraders, Patrols (even AA are scarce here) Dark side - zilch, nowt, b***** all :woohoo:

Car 2 is the John Edgar Mighty Midget, based on a TC.
Car 3 is Buchanan MG special: body # 55 with MG TD chassis, suspension and motor. MGB seats fitted. In NSW owned by David Hutton AGE10Y.
Car 4 ironically I recognise but can't for the life of me place it, I'll keep looking...

With fixed head coachwork in hand-laid GRP by Monza, this MGA GT is believed to have been the prototype for a limited edition run that was never signed off for production. Chassis and running gear are pure MGA as is the power unit, a 1600 Mk1 engine of 1588cc capacity. Specification includes gas-flowed, polished and ported cylinder head, competition rocker gear, camshaft, distributor, 13-row oil cooler, Maniflow exhaust, Weber 45 DCOE carburettor and FIA-type long-distance fuel tank in aluminium.
