When I had one of my wiper joints pop off, I took the decision to spend the extra couple of quid and added these clips to all 3 of the joints and I'm really glad I did - and they certainly stood up well to the torrential rain we faced on arrival in Italy.

I found them a bit of a fiddle to fit, but they've not budged in a good few months now :broon:

The main problem is the socket (of the ball / socket) joint wearing to allow it to pop out. The clip cures this problem.


With all the rain we've had, in another great British summer, the spring clip hasn't budged at all and has done a solid job since 28th July 2012. :broon:
