I probably shouldn't of started another thread... But just a few pics of the finished engine

Spec is.... Er... Fair to middling















The engine will end up with independent throttle bodies.. So the alloy manifold is on just for now

Scholar EVO2 block (1.9l)
Scholar forged pistons
Sump baffle
Balanced crank (entire bottom end balanced)
EN24 Flywheel
AP 'ultimate street clutch'
Light weight alternator pulley
Uprated oil pump
Uprated oil rail
Uprated water pump
New oil pick up
Hellier head (based on TF160)
633 cams.. converted to non VVC
Titan ITBs (when I find some)
Emerald ECU
Engine being re-built by Hellier with new bearings/gaskets etc (full re0build)
New perishables (coils/ plugs etc)
Air/oil cooler (not got yet)
Janspeed 4-2-1 (the larger lotus GT one)
Janspeed sports CAT
TT MK7 (number 4)
Elise oil filler caps
Vernier pulleys
Hi flow fuel filter
Modified lower engine mount and polybushed

Scholar made the bottom end 1.9 now... re-bored.. new liners.. new pistons etc..









Not so much a labour of love.. as I aint done a thing... but was an expensive engine.. :omg:

Ive since decided its too nice to get dirty.. so its staying in the house ;)

Oh.. Whilst I remember... The Elise parts oil pump gear DOES NOT FIT... It was that badly made it went round off centre so didn't get fitted...
