From what I see on the ad he is saying they may not fit after-market wheels.

However all alloy wheels ever fitted by MGRover use the same nuts, these are different to O/E spec steel wheel nuts but can be used on spare wheels, O/E spec steel wheel nuts can not be used on O/E spec alloys.

I can't see the one peice of info I was looking for in the ad, the taper should be 60'.
