I've got an OBD2 wifi unit and that doesn't enable me to reset it..I've tried the 'press the trip button for and turn on the ignition for 10 secs' trick..and that don't work either.
Any ideas?

Switched ignition on with finger on the trip.
Plugged in my Wi-Fi dongle with Dash Command on the I-Pad.
Tried the Bluetooth dongle with my Samsung Note using Torque.
So far I have not had much luck. :nonod:

Yes but thats not really much help to the chap who wants to no who can do it and what cost at least he can make a enquiry and give him the self the option.

Posted 11 years 2 months ago #127874They will reset the service light for £25 but only after an inspection confirms that a service has been done..not sure how they do that apart from looking at the colour of the oil etc...
Umm...what we need is an insight into what resetting involves...I've read somewhere that grounding pin 8 of the OBD socket might do it..not that I'm going to attempt that ..sounds like it could be an expensive test!

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..
