LE500 Service interval reset
I think the road block on T4 is between the ECU and the OBDII port as Mark (Z&F) had to remove my ECU and fit it to his car to remap it from his laptop. Amazingly his ECU in my LE500 also worked and both cars started and ran with the swapped ECUs.
Otherwise I can't help as my LE500 was serviced by my local main dealer for warranty purposes.

From researching the other forums it seems it may be possible to do this by shorting pins 4 and 8 of the OBD2 connector for a specified time. This seems to work with other MG models prior to takeover by MG cars UK. Anyone know if they changed anything that would make this not work?

Unless we can find a way around it I think I will look at desoldering the digits and the warning light.
£25 is all very well, but it is the £100 in fuel etc that it would cost me to get to a dealer.
I'm also now wondering if I can fit an earlier TF instrument cluster.

We think that we have cracked the LE500 / TF135 service light reset protocol and this should be in our next release within a few days.
It would be good if people can test it.

I have the same problem on my car, it currently says 5,600 to next service, and I have just changed the oil, filter, plugs, air & petrol filters, front discs and pads, new bilsteins, oil temp sender, etc etc
I'll keep watching, hoping for a simple solution
