Remember your a Womble!

I did this and also changed the bonnet screws and the crappy little bolts holding the security plate over the lock mechanism.
I can't remember the sizes unfortunately as I have a big box of stainless fixings that I delved into.

Please spare me from checking it myself: what size and how many do I need?

I used approx. 16 M6 x 12mm with appropriate washers for the non-structural stuff.

Socket or Hex head is up to your preference.

It's not within me. :lol: I just like to keep the how to section alive with new guides and even simple ideas sometimes make all the difference. Besides, many our members have found us when searching for something.

MGFNTFBITZ do sets, hex head or bolts in stainless for about £15

I got mine off eBay. Came in little packets labelled which fittings were which.

Well it seemed a shame not to do these as well - have I missed any more?

2 holding the lock/latch.
2 holding the security plate under the lock/latch.

bloody magpies, too shiny. my eyes!

I believe my screws look like that under all the crud and rust. Too shiny by half!
