Made a start on the hood…..
Notanumber:
Pretty sure the kit has all the rivets required.
The car cover is essential at the moment with the weather. Rained off twice today.

Just took.mine for it's MOT and it thankfully sailed through with no advisories. I was surprised to find out how few miles I've done since last year. I really must use it more.

Other than the obvious visible parts.

There are a couple of lower brackets per headlight, Top mounting for the headlights are the same,  fitting the brackets requires a couple of holes to be drilled and then bolt through to hold in place , MY2000 MGF's (mk2) have an indent on the panels where the holes need to be,  last bit on the headlight is swapping the plugs over on the loom,  wire colors are the same, simple cut an solder job.  (I've not done that as i swapped out the entire loom for a 2004 version)

The MGF armature bar needs swapping out for a TF one, then the TF bumper is a straight bolt on once the headlights are done.

The later bumper as I've got fitted needs a small adaptation to the armature bar as the center mountings on the bumper are set slightly lower,  the TF mounting bracket has two holes at the bottom of the bracket , i just widened these and fitted M10 rivet nuts.

925 mile round trip to the North of Scotland. TF ran like a dream eating up the miles and the roads were deserted North of Dundee. Did get our first proper top down soaking on the A1 in Northumberland when the heavens unexpectedly opened, then a good 5 minutes to a safe stop.

Only a tiny thimble of the Glenlivet was taken....
