The wee steptronic is ready for the road complete with a new back window of the plastic variety. Anyone know if a glass window is compatible with an electric soft top. If it is we'll swap it out at a later date. The silver mgf is next up failed mot on rusted sill and a ball joint and rear bush. Welding done( bit rough ) but solid enough. Filling sanding priming next. Needs to be ready for Thursday.. Have tried to insert a few photos. Every confidence my brother will have it ready in time

Spray greased all the door hinges including the boot and bonnet, a most worthwhile exercise as its cured a few nasty squeaks and groans.
Polished the headlights and gave the rear suspension a check out. Looks like new shocks and springs are in order in the new year!

A few of your posts just seem random :-? , and I need some searching to be able reference them to other posts, when they begin to make sense.

If you use the "action" button below the post you are answering or commenting about, and then "Quote", the contents of the original posting are quoted in a new post. (see above)

You can edit the quote down if necessary and then type your comments or questions.

it makes it much easier to follow questions and responses to particular threads especially when several people are contributing. :broon:

I sometimes get caught out myself like that. I answer a post expecting my post to follow on to the original, only to find other people have posted in the mean time, leaving my post adrift!

The glass rear screen works fine with the electric power roof (got one myself) - much easier as no worry about creased rear window.
