I am in need of some help and inspiration, I'm feeling the need to brighten up the cockpit in my TF. I've been toying with painting the centre console , instrument surround and door inserts in gloss black.

I was also thinking about polished alloy heater knobs and bezel ring kit, can I get any rings for the clock and oil temp gauge?

I don't want to go to bling bling but just want to add a bit of class to the interior.

Thanks guy's and any help or pictures of your interiors will be much appreciated.

My interior now.

Hi Steve I got my chrome parts from alloy car parts.co.uk they are quite reasonably priced and the quality is good. I'm respraying my centre console so I haven't fitted the rings yet. The other thing I was thinking of was hydrographics for the console and other trim they look pretty good. Stu

The rings come in brushed alloy or chrome......ive got them on the heater controls and on the clocks......they transform the interior......ive also got metal..(chrome) heater knobs .....i always look at them with a smile when im in the car..........it may be a good idea when changing colours of door panels to use doner panels and then if you change your mind you can always revert back... :broon:....other nice touches are the button on the handbrake being changed to alloy and maybe change the rings on the doors around the door opening levers.........to chrome ones from rover 75 with little modification and ive seen a how to on how these are done

That's a very classy but expensive interior that's surrounded by the wrong type of exterior :slapme:

Hi . A cheap blingy addition is the gear lever base which if you are prepared to remove and rub down with wet and dry to remove the silver paint will polish up really well . If the faux Allen screws are removed first along with the gaiter, with a bit of time and effort you get a professional finish .

I love the bright pack option and have put it in my TF.

Here's a good one for sale on ebay it's a little pricey at around £60 but they can go for a £100.

MGF Mgtf Mg TF 1.6 1.8 - GENUINE MG SILVER CENTER CONSOLE KIT . - RARE
