Order placed for all five dial surrounds, seat belt plates that fit into the t-bar,hand brake button and heater control knobs all from alloy car parts .com :broon:
I already have the door lock pins and guides along with the seat belt tidies which I bought from mg mania ( nice stuff).
I will pick up the paint this week and get the job started in a week or so.
Look forward to seeing your pictures.

Paint dash windscreen vents.
All parts to be painted gloss black .
After the paint.
Fit polished dial rings to all gauges.

Fit zt door handle surrounds.
And anything else that springs to mind.
Already fitted door lock pins and seat belt tidies, and alpine rear speakers.

As for mine it's fairly straightforward compared to what you are doing.
I managed an hour today to start the strip down of the plastic parts today.
I've took all the parts out and washed in fairy liquid ready to be rubbed down and cleaned again with thinners.
Just one question does anyone know how to remove the windscreen air vents?.

I've got a set of t hose R75 handles - forgot about them! Ooh damn something else to do!
If I remember rightly the windscreen vents are held in from underneath the dash.... easy when it's out, impossible when it's in I think.

I am gonna try and fit the entire handle from the R75 as I found a full how to... looks a total pain but I then get the curved chrome handle too.
