I have two spare complete r75 handles, if I get a bit braver I will have a try and fit them. I think I got the download off talking cars but as you say it looks like you do need to do a bit of work to the lever bracket. Good luck and if you come up with an easier way to fit them please let me know

Agreed it looks difficult - i gotta finish the Frankendash first then I can get on to the other bits! Will post if I manage it....

After seeing this I decided to give my heater knobs a make over. Managed to do one after struggling to get the paint to stick, but the other two are going much better following the same method.
The method I've used is to scratch them, degrease fully, paint with a layer of humbrol enamel paint, and then spray a few coats of paint (platinum silver as per exterior) and then a couple of laqueur.
They're not brilliant, as a bit rushed, but a huge improvement over how they were.
