Same with my Volvo FM10, rear is some 9 metres back, no reverse sensor and a screen for the reverse camera that goes up and down with no logic and gives no picture.
Home to black Alfa Romeo 159 3.2 V6 Q4 ,green MGF VVC and red MG Maestro T16.
MG - the friendly marque.

I am sure there is a earth stud in the rear compartment behind the boot liner on the left hand side if I remember - near the top. There is a major earth stud in the engine bay on the left also, look to the side of the fuel filter.therobster wrote: Following your excellent post I fitted sensors today, removed the bumper as detailed, quite easy really, drilled the holes and then drilled 2 holes to feed the cables through a grommet, left the number plate ones where they were. All the cables now in the boot, I know where the live for reverse is, the green and brown wire but where did you wire the earth ? Just need to wire them up now and feed the cable for the speaker into the cabin

You may also need them on on a Smart Car, with marginally less overhang than an MG.
It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

I know the Mods don't like us quoting pics, but you appear to be in the passenger seat here.....mgtfbluestreak wrote: ok i havent any hair.....id better come clean and show the real image in my little tf mirror....

I fitted 3.5mm jacks on the sensors & sockets through the rear panel, adjacent to the sensors, that allows for easy bumper removal, plus you can dress the cables to length, so you don't end up with a boot full of wire.
