This failed on the jaguar today which meant a trip to a local scrapyard for one .

Whilst rummaging around for jaguars we spotted a yellow Q plated Mgf with these on it.

Which were duly bought for an absolute bargain price. :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

I used to love rummaging around scrapyards...after old smiths gauges and switches to mod my boy racer cars back in the 80s...good find there....🤓

Cosmetic hoops only Mr Lawrence, they’ll be as resilient as celery if tested. But what a great find.

Cosmetic?

Oh no.

There Mike satur boxer hoops with the girder cross brace that anchors to the seatbelt mounts.

They weigh a ton!!

Had a quick look on his website and similar ones cost £400 to £500.

Nice strike, shame none of our local breakers have much in the MG range, fortunately Bitz is close enough for parts...

I stand corrected & apologise, I’ve spent enough time looking at these things recently yet I failed to recognise the real thing: red face with egg on it. Maybe I should have a word with Jelly & tell him to take no notice of my last post. And an even better find once you clocked the price, I don't suppose you want to se' - - - - - - - - no you wouldn't would you.
