Who uses their MG all year round rather than garage it in September and bring it out when the sun shines?
Ours is a daily driver all year. They do work in the winter, dontcha know.. Try oppo lock in the snow. Big fun.

If you garage yours in the winter... Why? Annoys me to be honest. Have to use the term Hobby Car. But that's just me. Curious.

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

Hobby car..hobby car, hobby car...got one that's what mine is...the tf to me could never be anything else than a hobby car garaged in the winter...it can't collect 3 grand kids in it (legally)..mazda does that...it can't go on site logging my van does that...so unless I can dislocate my body and drive all at once..then yes the tf remains a hobby..a car to enjoy...ponder thoughts on how great British cars were....to smile at the shear quality and finish the mg cars offer...a perfect hobby I want to preserve...and pass on to future generations so they to can have a hobby and enjoy talking about there pride and joy with like minded people and garage it in the winter so it's nice and shiny in may..

Mine is on the road all the year round, but I have bought a ZT-T as a daily drive, mainly as the TF was my only car (Mrs Sundance also has a two seater convertible) and I did need a more practical motor for family and odd jobs etc, and the fact that I was putting too many miles on my TF, so I just give the TF a run out once a week over winter or when I fancy a drive in it. If I did own a garage, I would still use it all the year round, and my TF is also a hobby of mine...I do like to keep it tip top!

When i can stop crashing it. It would have stayed on the road all year. Unfornately a tansit van saw diffrent and now the front bumper is a foot closer to the drivers seat. Too poorly to economically fix this time. So im very sad. On the plus side ive just bought another. So i now have some spares readily available

Yep use mine all year. Came home from work at 1am this morning, roof down, about 2 Celsius, stars out and moon waning. Fantastic!

Yup. I had my TF on the road all year round for 3 years. Only put a HRW in no hardtop or anything. Wish I had bought a MS Storm mate cover though as that particular MG leaked quite a bit. My new one seems water tight. But I still will buy the cover for it and a HRW, as although it won't be an everyday use, it will be used weekly.

I would love to be able to drive mine since sub staining a serious injury to my left hand last March and being under the hospital on medication since then, I don't think I have managed more than a couple of hundred miles from when I purchased the car last June and even then a friend had to drive it home for me.Anyway after a meeting with the surgeons last Thursday and being told any further surgery would carry a substantial risk of making the condition worse and also I would be on the medication for the foreseeable future if not for life I am struggling to know what to do.:-?

John gets anoyed at the saying hobby car...hee hee....well let's try and explain...THE mgtf wasnt a car of my choice.it was a car my mrs saw and was to be solely for her use has her second car. I tried to put the Mrs off in every way I could.. (don't buy that car..walk away the head gaskets go on them).I normally only drive late low mileage cars no more than 4 years old and turbo diesels at that...anyway it was bought against advice and holy moses after 1 week she said sell it the clutch is to stiff......not wanting to lose money overnight it was garaged after about 4months I began to tinker with it and enjoyed a trip out in the sun...decision made keep it and tinker with it has a HOBBY.....her latest car was bought and the tf is on our drive with our other 4 motors...(HOBBY)

The tf is my daily drive unless there's snow down, in which case the Land Rover is out. The f is a different matter, that's the hobby car & it'll be on the road as soon as the bits of bodywork have been done. I was up the A6 north of Preston with the roof down yesterday & after a minus 6* night last night I took the picture before going to church.
