Who drives theirs all year round?
In my youth my MGA and various Midgets were everyday cars and were treated as 'open cars' - roof up only when the rain got in at over 30mph! But now, in retirement, I can finally keep a car spotless and just enjoy it when I want to. The TF is available all year round, and cold isn't a problem, but we're in Spain for January and February so I don't get much of a chance to rug-up and enjoy a winter run!
MGs are open cars - keep them that way!

Similar here. Sportage for daily drive, TF only when its sunny - trouble is, if its the weekend then it's back to the 4x4 towing the boat. So the TF only gets used on sunny days, to and from work. Which limits it's use - but it is taxed ready...
How do you find the Duster 4wd? I was looking and them - but there's nowt wrong the the Sportage TBH...

Posted 6 years 10 months ago #182958If I was using it everyday then I'd probably look into lagging the underfloor pipes and making a few other changes to speed up warm up time. I want to make a few changes to the heater circuit as output isn't great, particularly at idle, the PRT set up is inferior in heater output, although probably doesn't help I lost the flow restrictor and had to make a new one.

Excellent value for money, not so many bells and whistle as some of the (much more expensive) rivals but a very practical and capable vehicle.
30 months and close to 60,000km with only a disconnected drain tube in the aircon, so no complaints. Currently in Spain indulging in a little soft-roading having come through the snow and torrential rain that hit Spain last week with confidence and in comfort.
If you're thinking of one http://www.daciaworld.co.uk/ is well worth a look. I post as Thefrenchconnection.
