Should be 14.2v while charging and 13.4v with the engine off.

fixed it broken wire in the boot.

That's interesting, do you think that the broken wire was your problem all along & which wire was it that you found broken, this info could help others with a similar problems.

it was a purple and white wire, going to sell it and forget i ever owned one.been a nightmare from start to finish.

I find that quite sad that an active members has been ground down to such an extent that he is now considering selling his car. Graham, you have devoted so much time & money to your car, why not reconsider; you must be on the cusp of success & with the prospect of many roof down miles to come. Mike

to be honest mike i will garage it for now, and re mot it next year, it has driven me around the bend, so if i put it away for now i can come back to it i can see it with a fresh outlook. there is nothing wrong with it now, but have lost heart in it for now.
