TF 160 Air Filter Intake Hose
If you want to do a ramcharge effect I would look to some sort of intake snorkle to the side of the car, probably more effective than a long duct all the way to the front of the car, the snorkle would probably involve some modification to the bodywork.

Just put a circular axial fan in the duct to force air in

Ramcharge effect, that's the phase I was wanting, thanks Cobber.
I have seen the air intake scoops fitted to an MGF are they effective?
Sundance, I like the idea of the nearside duct fan wired up permanently on, that may help, anyone done this already?

The best you can achieve is to direct colder air through the throttle body.
It has been proved that those little fans do nothing to force more air through.
For that you need a supercharger or alternatively a turbo.
The addition of scoops to the side vents and piping the air inlet pipe to the near side is my suggestion.
