Cheers for that Bryan, I'm going up to my local MG garage and getting a new bottle cap tomorrow, and the rest of the stuff I'll go through with my dad when he has time off, a lot of it will have to wait until I'm back in work unfortunately :(

You can get an uprated water pump with a brass impellor. The idea being that the standard steel impellor corrodes and comes loose. The company says that the new item gets rid of this problem, but I have never heard of anyone who has fitted one.
