Im going to buy a hardtop but just need to check my car has got the right attachment points in place. The absence of a HRW swtch and relay suggesting it hasnt had a hard top on it in the past.
Are these the rear hooks, brackets that a hardtop would fit to ? Is there anything else , no central bracket etc

To the best of my knowledge all cars were thus equipped & your car is no exception. The chances of picking up a hard top, popping it on, finding the latches are aligned with the hooks & the tension correct is slim, be prepared for a fiddle. From reading your posts, that challenge will be met with resilience & success is a forgone conclusion.

I could just see myself journeying homewards with the back end of the hardtop merrily bouncing around pivoting from the front catches, one of which would then inexorably self detach and have to be held in place for the rest of the journey.
