The zip over the top of the rear window in the hood of my MGTF 1.6 Spark has failed. I believe there is a replacement slider attachment that can be fitted if the zip teeth are OK. Does anyone have any info on this?

How good is the clear plastic window? It’s probably about buggered like most of them, if so you may as well get a new zip in window section

I have a brand new zip that I mistakenly bought last year . You are welcome to it 😊.

Window is OK, thanks. I've purchased a new slider which is reported to be easy to fit, so I'm going with that. If that doesn't work I'll think again. Thanks for your interest.

Cool but whilst you are here it would be great to stay and touch base with us on the forum, let us know a bit about your car etc.

I've just bought this car and, apart from the failed zip, the yellow warning light keeps coming on. The car runs perfectly and all the indicators (temperature etc.) are fine. There is no indication that there is anything wrong. I have seen forum posts on this problem which say to just ignore it if the car is running OK.
