Which way up should the twin flag side badge be please? Union jack on top or checkered flag . Either my 115 or 135 must be wrong and I can't make out which way up it should be from the gallery

Proper flag protocol dictates the the national flag should be closest to the masthead (top of the pole) so I guess the Union Jack should go to the top

Cobber is correct with that convention, however with the Union flag the broad white stripe should be at the top & nearest to the pole & as the pole is usually depicted as being to the left of the flag the flag has to furl to the right. To adhere to this convention the checkered flag in this case would have to be above the national flag.
Placing the emblem in relation to the side repeater in my case was probably governed by the need to cover a paint blemish as my car wasn’t supplied with badges.

a quick Google picture search shows the checkered flag on top 99%
