My car has just clocked up 125000 miles, so we’ll done those chaps who put it together all those years ago. Thank you to all the previous owners for looking after it & having it serviced at the correct time. Not so many thanks to the owner who didn’t pass on a great chunk of service history, but there again he (or she) might of thought it’d end up in the scrapyard with other MGf owners picking over the carcass.
When Jon & Claire from Rough Look Racing came to replace the head gasket on the tf Jon said it didn’t look like the head had ever been off & as there’s no evidence of emulsified oil in the water jacket or pipe work, coupled with his unassailable reputation he’s probably correct, as incredible as that may sound.
So thanks guys, who & where ever you are you did a great job of this one.
