Finding parts for your MGF: save an alert on eBay

I have had a real problem finding the lower part of the speedometer cable for an MGF mark 1, with long waiting lists for it at the usual skockists. The breakthrough has come by searching for the part by number at eBay and then saving an alert there. This promised to alert me when one came up for sale on the site. An alert arrived within weeks, and the part has now been fitted.
