As always our esteemed antipodean is correct, however it depends on what info you require.
My f predates the other MG’s I’ve worked on & it is the green manual that I’ve used throughout.
I can’t think of any instances where I’ve been let down by it. Some of it is a bit of a shambles, referring you to sections all through, I print out all the relaxant pages & clipboard them in order. Once oil covered they go in the recycling.

The big advantage of the blue book is that everything required is in the one volume, so TF'ers only need to buy the one book where as us poor F"ers have to buy two separate volumes sold of course.....separately.... why would you only want one and not the other? the two books should be sold as a set!

You couldn’t get a surgical instrument in to prize that argument apart.
My respects Cobber, as usual.

I do wonder why you are not using original MG-Rover workshop manuals for F and TF when you have them all in download section under RAVEs ... they both cover VVC engines.

Personally I prefer paper hard copies when I'm working on cars etc.  phones are bloody useless as the screens are too bloody small and iPads and laptops are too vulnerable to damage. And after all these years I'm so used to working with hard copies, that I find the touch screens on iPads and their associated bullshit, with every slightest thing loosing your place way too annoying and laptops just too bloody cumbersome. i also tend to get grease and oil from arsehole to breakfast! and that would quickly destroy the new macbook which cost more then the car!
Yes I could print out the bits I need but every time there is so much as an ant fart of wind the bits of paper blow away to the shithouse.........I guess others feel the same as me and they too prefer the old fashioned way.

It’s an age thing!
Besides I’ve downloaded it & it claims to be on my workshop computer but I’ve not been able to get at it. There is an element of “I’ve got the book of words & it’s quicker to grab that rather than invest the time into getting it working”

Tech is a powerful thing when used to it's full potential but most of the time you just don't need it to do what you have to do, I've probably got the job done by the time you young whipper snappers with all your fancy screens and tech have gotten started because you spent that much time buggerising around with it before you actually got to the car.
Remember I'm old enough to remember the old ways before we had all the gizmos and young enough to have learned the new ways and how to use the gizmos so that puts me in a position to use my experience to decide the best way to do it using a cocktail between the old ways and the new if the situation demands.
So much I do out of pure instinct.

I agree, I'd rather have the hard copies.
