Mission impossible part2
I do enjoy the vvc engine but it's always nagging away that I didn't truly get the job done properly.
I'm no engine builder but the thought that I should try.

That looks more like a 4 cylinder water pump than a engine!I do enjoy the vvc engine but it's always nagging away that I didn't truly get the job done properly.

You can see why there are no big bore modification of our engines due to the skinny gutted walls of the bore thickness

Hi the motor I'm doing was in a similar state where the gasket had gone, but I must say not as bad as that looks.
I would have liked to have removed the motor from the car but was short of space behind the car to pull it from underneath, so working on it in situ slowly but surely.
Regards Glyn.

Am I correct in thinking that you have a donor car which is given up its vital organs for the preservation of No1 car. This grim offering then, I assume, is from the car late of this parish. A sort of Prince Harry car if that we’re to be the case.

Yes, this is the original engine from our car.
I'm hoping that the bottom end is OK otherwise its going to get weighed in with rest of the leftover stuff from the doner.

Clip the liners down and turn the engine over a few times after removing that crap, just to see how things are

It could be considerably worse, you might have heard Agga Doo (is that correct?) or Black Betty on the wireless. I had to look earworm songs up, I am NO expert.
Now that would really screw your day up.
I’m off to pick up a pair of rear light clusters l won on eBay. I was the only bidder & thus got them at the starting price.
I feel bad about it but it is an auction.
99p as you ask!
