MG TF HOOD FABRIC
Morning I think I have just about finished spraying , now there is the long task of flatting and polishing the body work .Once the dirty work is finished I need to smarten the hood fabric .Its in good condition but when I bought the car is was "grubby" and with all the work being done over the past year its not looking good .What`s the best way of cleaning the fabric and restoring the black colour to it Len

There is stuff called Renovo first use their cleaner, then their reviver and the window polish if needed

Is it on or off the car? If its on the car you'll need to protect the newly painted bodywork from splashes/runs.
I know its more work but I would be inclined to remove it (with help) from the car to clean and treat it, there are other makes of colourant on the market not just Renovo. (I bought green Renovo for my hood, done a test area almost turned it black so its still on the shelf)
Good luck.

Hi Len.
I have some protex hood cleaner and waterproofing left over from a recent job.
There's plenty of the cleaner left and enough waterproofing for a coat if you want it.
