Mike Satur Brake servo bracket
I've been looking at the Mike Satur Brake servo brackets on his website, there are 2 listed for the MGF but they both look the same with different prices, Has anyone purchased one or could have a look and explain the difference to me please. Brakes

Sometimes the aftermarket items are a cheaper take but function as well, you might have to give them a coat of paint of find the fittings are mild as opposed to stainless steel but is that such a sacrifice.
Do look at alternate designs & suppliers & don’t ask me for recommendations, you’ll have to do your own leg work.

There are one or two market leading supplier for our cars & it is to those who we tend to gravitate when looking for parts. I suspect this is due to their websites being easier to navigate & have pin sharp service. Operating just under the radar are a number of firms who might well be selling the same items as the flagships but at more attractive prices.

I love MS’s stuff, and have purchased quite a few parts from him. And he has been most helpful, even phoning me and reaching me through several non English-speaking persons, don’t ask me how 👏🏼
This said, I think his brake servo brace is quite complicated to fit, maybe a bit of an overkill. You might find easier and cheaper options somewhere else, maybe at ‘Bitz (sorry, AP 🙏🏼)

I must admit that previously I had purchased a MS’s one, that is now stored in the garage, close to where the soft top used to be 🤦🏻♂️

Recently joined member are usually new owners & want to get up to speed as soon as funds allow. My comment was code for spend wisely & you will in all probably get more kit for your pound.
It’s good throttle control for your wallet. Also by scanning more websites from more suppliers your knowledge will accelerate. I’m off to Chaderton tomorrow to buy a fresh servo & master cylinder combo, the usual suspects are out of stock. This guys has one in stock & it’s a fraction of the cost I was anticipating. To be blinkered is counterproductive; I will now have the car back on the road early next week, I had been quoted a eight week lead time from one chap!

There is no need for absolution as no sin had been committed, nor was I singling out one supplier, with or without implication.

Totally agree in every way. But that was a mistake I made (totally personal opinion) and you try avoid that happening to other people.
For people that are not new members your post was transparent 😊

It’s a good site to be familiar with, along with the others.
