I have plugged pscan into both Lucas and Pectron based TF cars and established the EKA code. I can’t comment on an F.
However, I did this on my latest (Pectron) based car as I could not get the code I was given to work. I even changed it to something simpler to work through but still could not get the sequence to work. Sometimes it sounded the alarm after the second movement of the key, sometimes the third, never any success.
The good people on here and elsewhere suggested it was a waste of time. I accepted that wisdom and gave up. I suspect it is due to worn micro switches in the lock not necessarily acknowledging the key movements in time or voltage drops across the door lock micro switch creating a situation that was incompatible with the ECU.
If anyone can tell me differently I’d like to know.

The answer to your question is yes.  You can change it too, if you wish.  But my experience is much the same as Delbourt's.

I always had the EKA code but could not make it work.  The first thing I did with my pscan was to read the EKA, which confirmed it was the code I was given.  To troubleshoot, I set the EKA to as close to 1111 as it would allow, but I still cannot make it work.  It's almost certainly the microswitches in the door lock, as other things (such as the courtesy light) don't work the way they are supposed to.

If the car has a 5AS alarm then, yes, you can read the EKA.
If the car has a Pektron SCU, then, you can read the EKA provided that pscan can connect to the SCU.  It will only connect to the SCU if it is disarmed.  If you have no fobs and no EKA then it won't be able to connect.
