EMS code
I have several ECU and LUCAS 5as not paired because they come from different cars.
My goal: to synchronize each ECU with a LUCAS 5as.
Problem: My Pscan does not read EMS code from the ECU but read the EMS code from lucas 5as.
Another problem (so that it is more funny): I erased all the codes EMS from lucas 5AS :slapme:
How can I read the EMS from ECU?

Once an engine ECU has learnt the EMS from a 5AS then you will know what it is.
There isn't a way to read the EMS code directly from an Engine ECU.

If you power up the 5AS you can connect a fob to it, you can then match the 5AS to the engine ECU.
I have one fob that is matched to all my 5AS cars (currently 3 cars).

Thanks very much!!!
Si j'ai bien compris:
Je prends un ECU from a car and 5AS from an other car without EMS, j'écris le code EMS dans le 5AS puis mode aprentissage pour les synchroniser. C'est exact?
Question: Le ECU aprend le code EMS from 5AS?

I take an ECU from EMS, I write the EMS code in the 5AS and learning mode to synchronize them. That's right?
Question: Does the ECU know the EMS code from 5AS?
Sorry, I'm french

1. Log into 5AS and set the EMS that you want.
2. Log into Engine ECU and select "learn EMS".

Thanks you very very much! you are the Boss
I'll try it and I'll tell you if it's ok
It would deserve a little tutorial
It's really great to be dealing with competent and passionate people.
I doubt that there is such support for other car brands.
Without wanting to pollute this subject: Will it be possible with the Pscan in the near future to have the same options from MEMS 1.9 to MEMS 2J (Tuning of open loop enrichment, ignition timing, ...)?
Thanks again for all!!!

Unfortunately MEMS 1.9 and MEMS 2.0 are not modifiable.
