Hello,
Several years ago I got PSCAN for my MGF. Now I'm about to get a Range Rover 2010. Can PSCAN handle it or should I look for another software and hardware?

right now it cannot.
I am currently working on a CANbus stack for pscan, and hopefully it will be the next update.
This would allow pscan to connect to a newer vehicle in the same way as a generic EOBD/OBD2 scanner.
I think it will take a few weeks to get it done.

Hi
I have a couple of PSCAN units and have found them really useful however I now have a BMW 2005 X5 3L diesel and wondered if I can use it on this car as when using it on MGs it says using BMW protocols

I would like to program another key for the car, and health check the ECU

many thanks

Jon

I am developing CANBus to support the basic EOBD protocols, and after that I can start working on some of the Landrover proprietary CANbus protocols (such as the Duratorq engines).  However, I have no intention or interest in producing a BMW diagnostic tool.  The probability of pscan ever being able to code a key to your X5 is near zero.  You will need to find a BMW tool for that.
