"Houston, we have light again". So it's F12 a 15A fuse. Oh, the older eyes, less 'divine' and flexible body, in a dark garage, fiddling with a flashlight, prevented me from reading the fuse diagram with symbols and abbreviated text properly. All works well, including the clock. Someone enlightened me, so case closed.
For your info, it's about a TF from 2002 LHD. Fuses are situated under the steering column.

Cobber thanks for the comment. Problem: no light in the boot, festoon, and underside mirror. Even the clock doesn't work. And yes, I pulled out the fuses F7 and F8 and inspected them thoroughly. For security I changed them with new ones. Also checked for corrosion, but all that is dry and clean. But..., maybe the problem is F12. So I will look at that later on.

"Houston, we have a problem!" Yesterday afternoon I quickly changed the bulb in the trunk light. Bang, the interior light fuse blew! This afternoon I thought just remove the plastic panel under the steering box and replace a fuse. So I pulled out no. 8, it looks OK. I put in a new 10A anyway ---> no result. Could it be no. 7? Pulled it out, but that one is still intact. I put in a new one anyway ---> no result. Then I noticed that the dashboard clock also stopped at the moment I caused a short circuit. The main lighting and hazard lights do work. I also inspected the fuses in the black box under the front cover to be sure. Everything is OK. Can anyone advise me on what to do about this?
