Silverstone Track Taster Day

I don't really want to try and organise this, but thought I would post if someone else wanted to pick it up.

You can have a meet at Silverstone, and then any car that wants 30mins on track, can pay £39 per car (I assume a helmet will be required)

As it is not a race, you can drive at a speed you & the car are comfortable with.
Will get some more details & may try to organise an event.
Meet up & lunch first, then an afternoon session :woohoo:

I wouldn't mind going myself its just I'm helping to arrange a 75/ZT meet at the BTCC this year, and its hard going to get the numbers.

I have now received info. on this & need to see how many are interested in what should be a great event.
Details;
Sunday,27th October. Time slot probably 14.10 - 14.40pm. cost £39.
Drivers need to wear helmet, but if you can't borrow one , they are available for hire for £10.
Also, drivers need to have arms & legs covered.
After full safety briefing, drivers follow instructors car around the National circuit & after a few familiarisation laps continue at their own pace
What I envisage is meet up for a photo shoot in the Paddock about 1.00pm, then have lunch in cafe on site.
There is a max. of 20 cars per time slot, so it would be ideal if we could book this just for MG's.
As, from past experience, I think we will struggle to do this with just T-bar members & I intend to invite members of Org. as well.
So who's up for this?

Id be up for it in my ZT 190, there is no chance our lass would let me take the F around! :hgf:

Well, so far we have 2 T-bar & 5 from Org. that are interested, so it would be nice to have a few more of you to join us.
Don't be put off if you have a bog standard car - my brakes are OEM & don't fill you with confidence, so I will be taking it easy coming up to bends Also I'm 75, so expect to be at the back of the field

Click "Track" then track days & finally track taster days.
Book the 14.10pm slot [in the no.of seats state 1 ] & pay by card.
Please read the "terms & conditions for car track days" as there are several important things you should be aware of.
Please post or pm me if you have booked so I can keep track of who's coming.

You can use any car, not just MG's. One entrant is bringing his Streetcar, though with a some what different engine :dry:
