Have fun everyone.

Track taster?

Last time I tasted a track was Darley Dale in 1976. Tasted it literally. In a motorbike clubmans race. Remember them anyone? Did a bit of Class B car racing and was amazingly lucky regarding incidents. Mainly because everyone else was way in front.......

Darley Dale track: It tasted of Tarmac. And pain. When I woke up, two of my fingers were definitely facing the wrong way. And one of my knees and both elbows had no skin on. Ouch. Racing leathers not quite so good back then.

I realised then that I was not the next Mike Hailwood. :nonod:
Following my car racing days, I realised I wasn't going to get an F1 contract either. :nonod:

It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

Ah yes. My memories of motorbikes include the taste of tarmac and extensive gravel rash.
Cars are much safer.
Have fun everyone. Remember the MG motto -SAFETY FAST :yesnod: :yesnod:
