Nothing wrong with ferrets. I like all those long-bodied short-legged critters.KUON;6059 wrote: So, nobody like ferrets??

We have stoats, weasels, and polecats around here. Great for keeping the rampant rabbit population down. There's even the very occasional sighting of Pine Martins!

These wont, they're cuddly.
Though the hob does have a trick where he sinks his teeth into your chin and hangs down from it.

True story apparently:
A group of schoolchildren were being taken around the Scottish Gamefair, sometime in the sixties. They came to the pinemarten enclosure at about feeding time. The fare was eggs.
The young teacher was appalled and heard to shout to a nearby Keeper 'Help,
those polecats are eating the poor pinemartens eggs'.
You can imagine the giggles from the country bred schoolkids.

You ever had a parrot try to bite your finger off??
It doesn't just tickle!
The worst part is having the nurse convulse with a fit of the giggles when she is trying to stitch up the ragged ends.

I used to love putting my hand into the hutch where my favorite polcat had babies, when you removed it, you had five tiny polecats, each hanging onto a finger with needle like teeth!
