Hi everyone
Jeff
I am new to the classic car ownership club, having just picked up a MGF 200my 1.8mpi in silver.
Looking forward to all the help i am going to need and answers to all my stupid questions.

Welcome to MG ownership!
These cars are quirky so there are no stupid questions!
I'm new to MGF TF ownership too but this forum has been really helpful. There are enthusiasts here that are rarely stumped at solving problems and they share freely and willingly.
Enjoy MG ownership and your stay here.

Before you grab a spanner & make your first error, review what the grey beards & the manual says, steer a course between the two. But steer to the bank closest to where your common sense implies the deepest water. There is not a single person on here who has not run aground.

Had you been after one for a while and looked at a few or did you just suddenly spot the one you've ended up with ? What colour is it, does it need any work doing ?
