I would actually like to say thank you for giving all of us the chance to get bits we need, at a very cheap price :broon:

It's been a pleasure, i would always prefer to deal with club members and enthusiasts everyday of the week, the help and guidance I have received is more than worth any potential extra profit I may have gained from selling in the traditional manner.
It's just about breaking even now.
Thanks
Tony

Hi Tony,

Unless you've already done so, I shouldn't worry about that binnacle, I spent yesterday working on Lee's car, didn't realise what an absolute nightmare of a job it is to remove it.

To do it properly the whole dash has to be removed to get at the three screws at the back of the binnacle. The three lugs on Lee's car were all snapped off, managed to repair the split with epoxy resin & 'restuck' the rear of the binnacle with Sikaflex 256 (never move again).

It's been a while but just had a productive couple of hours with the car.
Had a crack at the interior and dash after someone asked for the oil temp gauge and the clock, so I have removed these as well as the airbag and instrument panel, I do also have the binnacle from around the instruments, and the switches from the centre of the dash, windows, hazard etc..

Anything anyone feels they may want from this lot let me know.

Also found the paint code which is JRJ

Thanks
Tony
