LED Valve Lights

Will any old one do? Are the cheaper ones really rubbish or does it not really matter cos the difference in price on e-bay seems to vary greatly from about £1.20 up to £10 for two of them?

And the whole automatic sensor thing as I will be mostly only using them at dusk not full dark unless Thor unleashes a massive dark storm upon us how will that affect them cos obviously if they only come on in full dark there is little point to them for me....

I don't put fancy tyre valve covers on any more as I am sick of paying for valves for the local yoofs to fit to their bikes.

yep the tyre valve ones but this would be for a not so "Yoof" to fit to my bike I am too old and dont run fast enough to nick them off cars anymore so I thought I would purchase them myself all nice and decent like

Do the led ones do spinny-rings at night? That would be seriously shhhweeet!

Yas thats what I want the ones that light up, red ones, that do the spinny rings at night, it seems you can get motion turn on ones and also dark turn on ones, I wondered how dark it has to be for the dark turn on ones to turn on.

Cos obviously I dont want to waste battery on having lights on when I mostly ride in the day all the time with the motion ones... BUT if it has to be really dark rather than dusk for the turn on when its dark ones to work then that would not be good either as they would not turn on when I needed them to

I could pehaps have blues or white ones on the front 2 wheels with red on the back two wheels

Was going to ask if these were legal. The only place you are allowed red lights is on the rear of the car, but I should imagine the whole swirling LED thing would attract PC Plod quicker than a stripey top and a swag bag.
