When our kids were young a MacD was a treat, until they all turned into student radicals and wanted to burn them down. Still, all 5 are grown up now, youngest is 23! And most importantly......all moved out! In our experience, the first 35 years of parenthood are the worst. :yesnod:
Sweetcorn? I thought that was grown in tins by a green bloke,
David, we can never have too many supermarkets, according to our council.
It will be all right in the end. If it isn't all right yet, then it is not yet the end..

We did mainly try to give our kids healthy food when they were growing up, but did have fish finger and such teatimes occasionally! They all grew up pretty, the girls too.
This has gone so far off topic that I'm amazed we haven't been mod prodded. Wait: David joined in! :woohoo:
Back to bicycles: our village is a favoured route of sport cyclists. Lycra clad sweaty bloke asres: delightful.
Not. :help:
More lady cyclists required urgently.

We have two co-ops for some odd reason the little ones, and also the needed 4 haridressers & a beautician plus a newly opened chemist. It's quite sad I am most excited about the chemist as it means I don't have to cycle 1 mile if the small people are poorly to get drugsJohn and Sue wrote: Our village has a little shop. The nearest small supermarket ( Shepshed) is 6 miles away, big uns about 10 or so. Shepshed does have the League of Nations when it comes to takeaways however!

We do have lots of the lycra clad ones here and even more since the olympics cos we have a gold post box and a they re-named the cycle route named after Dani King but we also have lots of non-lycra ones, especially little old ladies whom I have bike envy over and a myriad of combinations of adult bikers with child attachments appeared over the summer but I suspect they will disappear over winter, my little MG has her hot water bottle at the ready for winter rides. It is a great annoyance releaser especially when the husband turns the school run into a 3 act production

Yes they can Puddles, http://www.the-t-bar.com/en/forum/21-david-aiketgates-guides/16625-heated-seats-how-to-fit-heat-pads and they're a popular and easy mod.
If you've an idea for the car, chances are someone may have done it before and you'll find it under the 'How To' orange tab on the left of your screen. :broon:
