I still have no idea what a duck do is but suspect I don't want to either.

A 10.30 meet would mean too early a start if I take the route I have in mind.
I'm coming from further north and wasn't planning on bombing down the motorway so if you peeps are still around a bit later I'll see you then.

Perfect, I imagine around about 11/12 ish. I'm thinking of heading further south after some lunch at the Ponderosa. There is a campsite near a waterfall where I used to take my son camping when he was little, I fancy taking a trip down there again. Might even convince the lad to join me but usually he is just too cool to hangout with Mum and it is just SUCH a waste of his LIFE!

I was thinking of going through Frodsham and Helsby then driving down Queensferry to Hawarden way and taking the back (twisty) roads through the trees rather than the motorway before crossing the Llandegla moors and turning left at the roundabout with the cider farm to make our way up to the Ponderosa cafe, before dropping down the horseshoe pass into Llangollen. :drive: Might even try and find the country park (think it's called Ty Mar?) with the perilous walk across the aquaduct before heading home along the same route in reverse and stopping to pick up some cider :beer:
