But that's a bit early for us too (Nanna wouldn't thank us for waking her up that early for baby sitting duties). :spank:
I was thinking of going through Frodsham and Helsby then driving down Queensferry to Hawarden way and taking the back (twisty) roads through the trees rather than the motorway before crossing the Llandegla moors and turning left at the roundabout with the cider farm to make our way up to the Ponderosa cafe, before dropping down the horseshoe pass into Llangollen. :drive: Might even try and find the country park (think it's called Ty Mar?) with the perilous walk across the aquaduct before heading home along the same route in reverse and stopping to pick up some cider :beer:
