Yes I believe that the later ones are un-serviceable.mgtfbluestreak wrote: sundance here is a youtube video by our very own leigh ping....it shows the revs hunting on the rev counter and a preset method......i believe mine and your iacv cant be cleaned ....thier disposible
I did a TPS reset first, however the revs were not hunting like in the vid, just higher than normal but steady, when revving the revs will drop slower than usual and then rest at somewhere between 900 and 1100.
Its ok again at the moment, I dropped off a kerb yesterday and the bump must have shocked the valve free again (maybe) since then its been ok.
Will have to wait until its fails again and then start tinkering, cant fix a fault until its there!
Still have to replace my reversing light switch too, must get some decent ramps like Bluestreaks first!

Collected the new bits from the shop.......allthough i will be going back down to buy another rear caliper to match the other side.....here are the bits so far waiting to go on.
Here is the reman caliper before i built it and fitted it to the tf
Didnt have a lot of time tonight...just managed one caliper on.....take it nice and easy.
The sensor came easily out of the frontpipe without any heat using a 22mm crows foot.....im sure if kwik fit had done the job......they would be telling me i needed a new sensor.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,anyhow.after i dismantled the exhaust system from the tf....i had to drive it off the ramps to take off a caliper.....................crikey ive never heard a blast so loud...and i test run hgv engines with no systems on for a living........the cats were hiding under the settee and next doors rottie stopped barking for the first time in ages.

The post and pre cat sensors are also possibilities to check, but maybe you should be looking at the cat first.

You can see the actual readings from the two O2 sensors and the coolant temp sensor. This is invaluable information.
Also if it turns out to be the Cat don't buy cheap, buy quality. :broon:
