It just boggles me that it was randomly behind the kick panel like that :S
I've had another look and there's not even a place down there for it to fit, and no loose wires either.

aaaanyway, here are a couple of pics from inside the 'thing';
This is the circuit on the top, you can see the connector on the end just underneath the board;
and this is on the side, it's plugged into the underneath of the circuit (and is all sticky :dunno:);
