Best radio upgrade for an MGTF
What is a good recommendation?
AI suggested a Kenwood KMM-BT506DAB (zero clutter, easy controls and best balance for a classic MG).
I was also thinking of a Pioneer AVH-Z7200DAB (expensive). Fits in a single DIN chassis of the TF but screen pops out to double size and allows full Apple CarPlay interface. Allows all the good stuff like Google Maps, Apple Music, etc besides AM, FM, DAB radio and looks like standard radio when not On. Also solves problem of finding a good phone mount.

Posted 3 months 2 weeks ago #222706I replaced my CD player because the discs jumped with the suspension.
This is the only other replacement I have tried, it can take usb sticks, I use Spotify mostly.
The phone works well on it and the sound is good, the front is one button detachable to put off the scroats.

Sound quality is better than the OEM headunit that was in the car too.

Where did you get your phone holder?
There was a company selling ones made for the TF but sadly are no longer available.
I have a generic one for the vents but its crap!

I saw a thread a while back that when changing the battery you need to be careful to not get locked out. When I got the car, no such codes came with it. Does this mean it's basiclally permenantly unlocked?
